Missing one tooth or several? “Artificial teeth” – or nakli dant, as many patients call them – covers three different treatments: dental implants, dental bridges and dentures. Each one works differently, lasts a different length of time and costs very different amounts. This guide explains the artificial teeth price in Pakistan for each option, so you can compare them before your visit. We start with typical prices across Pakistan, then show exactly what each option costs at our clinic in Bahria Town, Rawalpindi.

Why does the artificial teeth price in Pakistan vary so much?

The artificial teeth price in Pakistan covers a wide range because two patients can pay for the “same” treatment and receive very different things. The main reasons:

  • Materials and brands. Implants come from many manufacturers, from budget systems to premium international brands with long research records – the implant alone can account for much of the price difference. Bridges range from basic metal-ceramic to high-strength zirconia, and dentures from basic acrylic to flexible or metal frameworks with higher-quality artificial teeth.
  • The dental laboratory. Crowns, bridges and dentures are custom-made in a lab. A skilled lab using good materials produces a better fit, colour match and finish – and charges more for it.
  • The dentist’s training and experience. Planning and placing implants, or making a denture that fits and bites correctly, depends heavily on the dentist’s skill. More experienced, highly trained dentists usually charge more.
  • What is included in the quote. Some low prices cover only part of the treatment. One quote may include X-rays, the implant, the abutment, the crown and follow-up visits; another may quote the implant alone and add the rest later.
  • Extra treatment you may need. Extractions, gum treatment or bone grafting before the new teeth are fitted add to the total.
  • How many teeth and which teeth. A bridge is priced per tooth, and a complete denture quote may be for one jaw or for both upper and lower.
  • City and clinic standards. Running costs differ between cities and clinics – including sterilization standards, equipment and digital X-rays.

The lowest price is not always the best value: an artificial tooth that fits poorly or fails early usually costs more to redo. Always ask exactly what your quote includes. At our clinic, the full treatment plan and price are explained after an examination and X-rays, before any treatment begins.

Fixed vs removable artificial teeth – what is the difference?

Before comparing the artificial teeth price in Pakistan for each option, it helps to know the two main types. Fixed teeth (implants and bridges) stay in your mouth permanently. You brush and floss them like natural teeth, and they feel the most natural when you eat and speak.

Removable teeth (dentures) are taken out for cleaning and usually at night. They are the most affordable way to replace several or all teeth, but they take a few weeks to get used to.

Option 1: Dental implants – the closest thing to a natural tooth

A dental implant is a small titanium post placed in the jawbone. Over a few months the bone grows around it and holds it firmly, and a crown is then fitted on top. Because the implant replaces the root, it helps preserve the jawbone, and it does not need any support from neighbouring teeth.

  • Price at our clinic: PKR 150,000 – 180,000 per tooth
  • Time: usually 3–6 months from placement to the final tooth
  • Bone grafting: if there is not enough bone, bone grafting may be needed first (PKR 30,000 per cc)
  • Who it suits: healthy adults with enough bone, who want a long-term fixed tooth

We place single and multiple tooth implants and implant-supported dentures. See our full dental implant cost guide for brands and what is included.

Option 2: Dental bridges – fixed teeth without surgery

A bridge fills a gap by attaching an artificial tooth to crowns placed on the teeth on either side. It is fixed in place, needs no surgery, and is usually ready in about a week because it is made in a dental laboratory.

How bridges are priced: bridges are charged per tooth (unit), at the same price as a dental crown. A standard bridge replacing one missing tooth has 3 units – two supporting crowns and the artificial tooth in the middle:

3-unit bridge (replaces 1 tooth)Price at our clinic
PFM (porcelain fused to metal) – 3 × PKR 15,000PKR 45,000
Zirconia (metal-free, most natural look) – 3 × PKR 35,000PKR 105,000

Maryland bridge – PKR 20,000 at our clinic. For a missing front tooth, a Maryland bridge attaches the artificial tooth with small wings bonded to the back of the neighbouring teeth, so very little drilling is needed.

Things to know: the supporting teeth must be shaped for crowns, and a bridge does not preserve the bone under the gap the way an implant does. On average a bridge lasts 5 to 15 years, and longer with good care and regular checkups.

Option 3: Dentures – the most affordable way to replace several teeth

Dentures are removable artificial teeth on a gum-coloured base, and they offer the lowest artificial teeth price in Pakistan when several teeth need replacing. Partial dentures replace one or more missing teeth; complete dentures replace all the teeth in the upper or lower jaw.

Denture typePrice at our clinicBest for
Acrylic partialPKR 30,000Budget option, or a temporary replacement
Flexible partialPKR 60,000Comfort and appearance – no metal clasps
Metal (cast) partialPKR 75,000Strength and a thinner, lighter fit
Complete denturePKR 75,000 per archReplacing all upper or all lower teeth

It usually takes a few weeks to get used to new dentures – starting with softer foods helps. For more stability, an implant-supported denture clips onto 2–4 implants so it does not slip. See our dentures page and our implants vs dentures comparison.

Which option is right for you?

The best choice is not only about the artificial teeth price in Pakistan – the health of your bone, gums and remaining teeth matters just as much.

Your situationUsually the best option
One missing tooth, healthy bone, want the longest-lasting fixed toothDental implant
One missing tooth, and the neighbouring teeth already need crownsDental bridge
One missing front tooth, want a fixed option on a budgetMaryland bridge
Several missing teeth, tighter budgetPartial denture
All teeth missing in one jawComplete denture, or an implant-supported denture for more stability

“Teeth transplant” – what people usually mean

Many people search for “teeth transplant cost in Pakistan”. Moving a natural tooth from one place to another is rarely done. In almost all cases, what people are looking for is a dental implant – a fixed artificial tooth anchored in the jawbone.

Frequently Asked Questions — Artificial Teeth Price in Pakistan

How much does 1 artificial tooth cost in Pakistan?

It depends on the option. Across Pakistan, a single implant typically costs PKR 60,000 – 250,000, a Maryland bridge PKR 18,000 – 30,000 and an acrylic partial denture PKR 12,000 – 30,000. At our clinic, a Maryland bridge is PKR 20,000, a 3-unit PFM bridge PKR 45,000, an acrylic partial denture PKR 30,000 and a single implant PKR 150,000 – 180,000.

Which is better – fixed or removable teeth?

Fixed teeth (implants and bridges) feel and work most like natural teeth and do not come out. Removable dentures cost less and can replace many teeth at once. The right choice depends on your bone, the health of your other teeth and your budget.

How long do artificial teeth last?

Implants are designed as a long-term solution and can last many years with good care. Bridges last 5 to 15 years on average. Dentures last for years if looked after, but need checks and adjustments as your gums and jaw change.

How quickly can I get artificial teeth?

Bridges are made in a dental laboratory and are usually ready in about a week. Dentures need a few visits for impressions and fittings. Implants take longest – usually 3–6 months – because the bone needs time to heal around the implant.

Is the consultation free?

Implant consultations are free. A general consultation with X-rays is PKR 3,000. Your full treatment plan and price are explained before any treatment begins.
